What is International Talk Like A Pirate Day?
Talk Like A Pirate Day is an original concept created in a moment of temporary insanity by John Baur and Mark Summers. What once was a goofy idea celebrated by a handful of friends has turned into an international phenomenon that shows no sign of letting up. At the Lion, we will be encouraging guests and employees to add a little pirate flair for the day. Any customers arriving in pirate gear will receive a free cup of Navy grog!

Beach Volleyball at the Golden Lion Beach
Beginning on Saturday August 28th on the Golden Lion Beach between North 5th. and North 6th street, Flagler Beach, there will be beach Volleyball competitions every weekend.
This series of friendly & fun volleyball events for all ages will take place every Saturday and Sunday from 10.00am to 6.00pm.
