Happy Black Friday!
Wow! How about that Thanksgiving Day weather. We are truly blessed here in Flagler Beach when the AC needs to be on for Turkey Day! We were closed yesterday for one of the three days a year your favorite beach-side restaurant isn't open (the other two being Christmas Day and New Year's Day) but are back for you this weekend. We have some great music on our stage with the Cris Tuttle Band and the debut of Guitarman Steve. Steve is a product of our Monday night auditions and rocked his audition even without a PA system. Your ears are in for music treat tonight AND Saturday night.
We have TWO wedding reception at the Golden Lion this weekend. Looking for a great spot to host your meeting, Holiday Party, or group? The Golden Lion is a family-friendly venue right on the beach. Celebrate Repeal Day December 5th!
On December 5th, 1933 Prohibition ended in the United States. Repeal Day is not widely celebrated in this country, yet it commemorates the anniversary of the day the United States repealed the Eighteenth Amendment and gave Americans the constitutional ability to consume alcohol. Here at the Golden Lion staff and guests are encouraged to dress in the fashions of the era, ragtime music replaces the reggae house music, and we serve up classic cocktails such as Martinis, Manhattans, Rusty Nails, & Rob Roys. Make plans to stop in and join the celebration!
