Happy Friday Eve! Big time changes on the horizon at the Golden Lion Cafe. Regulars have already noticed the tiny steps towards our big upgrades, including a new Tiki Bar pavilion and deck expansion. We will keep you up to date. Stop by to check out the plans and progress!
It is really hard to say which night of music will be better this weekend. Rob Peck is a longtime performer at the Golden Lion. His bluesy harmonica and guitar are well-known to our guests. Last summer, Rob had to cancel a gig with us to play with Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band. He sent us a stand-in by the name of Katherine Archer. We fell in love with her "Sassy, Jazzy, Bluesy Love Songs For Planet Earth" and she has become a regular in our rotation. Don't stress about the choice, come both nights!
Feeling like a culinary challenge? Try the new Golden Lion Big Burger! 14 oz of black angus topped with caramelized onions and mushrooms. We dare you to eat it! Go ahead, add cheese.

It's Whale Season! Every year about this time, we see the North Atlantic Right Whales begin to appear off our coast. It is calving season, and they return here every year.
