Bike Week In Flagler Beach

It's that time of year again, when motorcycles take advantage of the scenic Flagler Beach section of A1A. Bike Week always brings a carnival atmosphere to the area, including the Golden Lion Cafe. Live music all week and good times for all! Speaking of carnival, Mardi Gras is next Tuesday. We will be jammin' at the Lion all week long!

Mardi Gras At The Beach!

Live music from Pat D'Aguanno and Stevie Fingers. Pat & Stevie will play their eclectic mix of jazz, blues, rock, Zydeco & New Orleans favorites. Fat Tuesday, March 8. Music from 5:30-9:30pm. While you're hear enjoy a steamed crawfish basket or a dinner of Chicken Delmonico (sauteed and flamed with brandy, creole seasoning, and fresh cream). It wouldn't be Mardi Gras without a delicious cocktail. Enjoy a "Tropical Storm" with vodka, coconut rum, raspberry liqueur, and pineapple juice for $5 all night long.

Mackenzie Grein Scholarship Benefit (Updated Date)

We're inviting the public to come and join a great cause in raising money for the Mackenzie Grein Scholarship on Sunday, March 27th, 2011. Friends, family and the general public are encouraged to drop by and show support for the event celebrating a vibrant, warm-hearted young life lost one year ago March 7th.

T-shirts commemorating the event will be on sale for $10.00 with 100% of funding raised going directly to the scholarship in her name. In addition, further donations will also be accepted on behalf of the Shannon Grein Scholarship.

More details will be added as they come in so check back frequently! For now mark it on your calendar and spread the good word.

Wings Over Flagler

This fantastic event is coming up on March 26th-27th right here in Flagler County. In its second year, this show is put on by one of our customers. Bill "Pirate" Mills, a retired Navy pilot, runs Blue Sky Yakrobatics.

This will be a super show and a great family day opportunity. Advance tickets will be available beginning February 20 at $5 for adults, $3 for ages 13-17. Kids under 12 get in free (must be accompanied by an adult). The price is right peeps! As an added bonus, meet the pilots at the Golden Lion on Friday March 25th!
