This weekend is all about the moon, baby! Starting Friday night with the Beach 92.7 & Golden Lion Double Moon Spectacular and followed on Saturday night by our monthly full moon luau, you have double the howling time. A special birthday wish to Kattie McNitt Kitchens, who will be celebrating her Golden Birthday with us tonight (27th on the 27th)!

Beach Volleyball at the Golden Lion Beach

Beginning on Saturday August 28th on the Golden Lion Beach between North 5th. and North 6th street, Flagler Beach, there will be beach Volleyball competitions every weekend.

This series of friendly & fun volleyball events for all ages will take place every Saturday and Sunday from 10.00am to 6.00pm.

We are pleased to offer your team....

• A well maintained, organized, clean beach on which to play every weekend. A relaxed beach side atmosphere suitable for all players.
• A properly laid out court with the use of free volleyballs.
• A table with free soft drinks, coolers of ice, & the use of the Golden Lion's facilities.
• A FREE order of jumbo chicken wings AND a 10% food discount if your 5 person team comes to the Golden Lion Cafe either before or after their game.

All you need to to is come up with a team name, find an opposing team, and reserve court time!

Talk Like A Pirate Day is an original concept created in a moment of temporary insanity by John Baur and Mark Summers. What once was a goofy idea celebrated by a handful of friends has turned into an international phenomenon that shows no sign of letting up. At the Lion, we will be encouraging guests and employees to add a little pirate flair for the day. Any customers arriving in pirate gear will receive a free cup of Navy grog!

It looks like a great weekend to visit the Golden Lion! A great lineup of music, including Kevin Quinn. Kevin splits residency between Florida and Asbury Park, NJ. Kevin performs a wide range of cover tunes as well as his own original songs. Some artists covered by Kevin include Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles, Tom Petty, Jimmy Buffet, The Eagles, Roy Orbison, Louis Armstrong, John Denver, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Plain White Tees, & Pure Prairie League. With his unique singing style, Kevin has been entertaining audiences both large and small for many years.

August 6 is the Flagler Beach First Friday festivities. Come on over to the beach for country music and the 4th Annual Flagler Beach Grill-Off! While you're here, stop by for some great music and good times!
